Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xephyr

Since the Lucid release, starting a Xephyr server and running vncviewer against
it results in a SIGSEGV.

The backtrace (running with -sync) was:
0: Xephyr (xorg_backtrace+0x28) [0x57ebb8]
1: Xephyr (0x400000+0x1827cd) [0x5827cd]
2: /lib/libpthread.so.0 (0x7f57bdbc2000+0xf8f0) [0x7f57bdbd18f0]
Segmentation fault at address (nil)

With the previous Xephyr version I tried running Xephyr under gdb to get
more info but that suppressed the symptoms. Now I can run, for
instance, xload against the server but vncviewer dies.

I've attached a core generated with the above backtrace.
