Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
Sometimes after resume from suspend to ram resolution is incorrect. It can be easily corrected using gnome display setting or using "xrandr -s 1680x1050 -r 60". Saving current resolution before suspend and restoring after resume should fix this(but rarely resolution is wrong after system boot). I had the same problem with 9.04. Xorg.conf configuration does not corrected this. Only xrandr utility can fix this.
