FWIW I am also seeing the exact same bug in a fresh Debian 'testing'
installation, up-to-date as of 2010-06-30.

The box is a Lenovo ThinkPad T510, with a ViewSonic VA2323wm 23"
external monitor, and uname says "Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 #1 SMP Tue Jun 1
04:34:03 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux". 'xrandr --version' says 1.3.2.
