Public bug reported: the problem is not only that mesa-common-dev is in conflict but all of these headers too because they depend on mesa-common-dev:
libglitz1-dev, libglewmx1.5-dev, libsdl-mixer1.2-dev, libqt4-opengl-dev, compiz-dev, libgl1-mesa-dev, libglitz-glx1-dev, libsmpeg-dev, libsdl- image1.2-dev, libcompizconfig0-dev, libsdl-gfx1.2-dev, libgle3-dev, libsdl1.2-dev, libglu1-mesa-dev, libglut3-dev, libquicktime-dev, libalberta2-dev, freeglut3-dev, libglew1.5-dev, libglpng-dev (and a lot more which I did not use until now in any of my projects) I use Ubuntu 10.10 on a Sony Vaio VGN-Z21MN with Hybrid Graphics (Intel [8086:2a42](i915) and NVidia [10de:06e5]). I need nvidia-current-dev to build VDPAU accelerated mplayer but I need all the other headers as well.. ** Affects: nvidia-graphics-drivers (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- nvidia-current-dev 256.35-0ubuntu1 conflicts with mesa-common-dev and all its dependencies https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/600397 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to nvidia-graphics-drivers in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
