I tried booting the Maverick Alpha 2 image off USB and got it to show the "low graphics mode" error, but it still fails to start X even in low graphics mode. I opened up the X.org log and at the end of the log it says: " ... LoadModule: "intel" ... LoadModule: "vesa" ... LoadModule: "fbdev" ... intel: Driver for Intel Integrated Graphics Chipsets: ...G45/G43, Q45/Q43, G41, B43, Clarkdale, Arrandale... Primary Device is: PCO: 0...@00:02:0 (WW) Falling back to old probe method for vesa (WW) Falling back to old probe method for fbdev ... (EE) intel(0): No kernel modesetting driver detected. (II) UnloadModule: "intel" (EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration. Fatal Server error: no screens found ... "
