Public bug reported: Meego uses the attached patch [1] to build in support for the 'evdev' and 'synaptic' drivers. I believe it saves about a second on startup.
Are those safe to build in? (I don't really understand the ramifications of doing so, but hopefully building them in doesn't hurt users that don't use either of them.) If it is safe, maybe we should use the patch too?
