Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-joystick
I installed xserver-xorg-input-joystic because I want move mousepointer with joystick. Moving works, but buttons are mapped wrongly. SystemSettings -> joystick shows it like this: A=1 B=2 C=3 X=4 Y=5 Z=6 left_shoulder=7 right_shoulder=8 'select'=9 Expected: A=button1 (left mouse button) B=button2 (middle mouse button) C=button3 (right mouse button) (maybe other buttons too) Actual: When using (or with xev). A=middle mouse button B=rigth mouse button others=nothing ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: xserver-xorg-input-joystick 1:1.5.0-3build1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-21.32-generic 2.6.32.11+drm33.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.32-21-generic x86_64 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sun Aug 8 16:53:40 2010 DkmsStatus: virtualbox-ose, 3.1.6, 2.6.32-21-generic, x86_64: installed InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release amd64 (20100429) MachineType: System manufacturer System Product Name ProcCmdLine: BOOT_IMAGE=/boot/vmlinuz-2.6.32-21-generic root=UUID=90e8f032-2dfd-4b18-8151-680849ec7970 ro quiet splash ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/bash PATH=(custom, user) LANG=fi_FI.utf8 SourcePackage: xserver-xorg-input-joystick dmi.bios.date: 07/25/2007 dmi.bios.vendor: American Megatrends Inc. dmi.bios.version: 1001 dmi.board.asset.tag: To Be Filled By O.E.M. dmi.board.name: P5B-VM dmi.board.vendor: ASUSTeK Computer INC. dmi.board.version: Rev 1.xx dmi.chassis.asset.tag: Asset-1234567890 dmi.chassis.type: 3 dmi.chassis.vendor: Chassis Manufacture dmi.chassis.version: Chassis Version dmi.modalias: dmi:bvnAmericanMegatrendsInc.:bvr1001:bd07/25/2007:svnSystemmanufacturer:pnSystemProductName:pvrSystemVersion:rvnASUSTeKComputerINC.:rnP5B-VM:rvrRev1.xx:cvnChassisManufacture:ct3:cvrChassisVersion: dmi.product.name: System Product Name dmi.product.version: System Version dmi.sys.vendor: System manufacturer glxinfo: Error: [Errno 2] Tiedostoa tai hakemistoa ei ole system: distro: Ubuntu codename: lucid architecture: x86_64 kernel: 2.6.32-21-generic ** Affects: xserver-xorg-input-joystick (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug lucid -- wrong button order when using joystick as mouse https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/615022 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-input-joystick in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
