Using Maverick and did an update and dist-upgrade, and i let it update and I saw that it uninstalled my fglrx-drivers and checked it up when the upgrade was done. It couldnt be installed because but it said that 'xserver-xorg-core' couldn't be installed and i kept doing so till i got the broken package, which was 'xorg-input-abi-9.0' and it has no installation candidate. Kept looking for several packages that didn't exist and found one more in the video section 'xorg-video-abi-7.0'. Could be more, but didn't check all packages. Haven't restarted my system yet, but guessing it wont start up as normal =) ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.10 Package: synaptic 0.63.1ubuntu13 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.35-14.20-generic 2.6.35 Uname: Linux 2.6.35-14-generic i686 NonfreeKernelModules: fglrx wl Architecture: i386 Date: Mon Aug 9 22:33:05 2010 ExecutablePath: /usr/sbin/synaptic InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS "Lucid Lynx" - Release i386 (20100429) ProcEnviron: PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=sv_SE.utf8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: synaptic ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 maverick -- Package 'xorg-input-abi-9.0' has no installation candidate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/615569 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
