** Description changed: In my Compal JFL92- laptop running Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty I have a problem that becomes apparent while typing text and (usually accidentally) touching the mousepad at the same time. The next letter I press after the mousepad gets multiplied, the keyboard gets 'stuck' and loses some following keyboard input until the system recovers. Example: mousepad followed by s -> sssssssssssss. I tested the problem also with Ubuntu 9.04 and 8.10 live-cds. With the 9.04 I could replicate the problem, but with 8.10 I could notice some lag of the keyboard input appearing on screen but no loss or replication of characters as with 9.04.
