** Description changed: I just updated my laptop to Karmic Koala, and I'm unable to type any acute symbol. The keyboard layout has not changed, I have an spanish layout and i have also tried with different spanish layouts, and all the symbols typed are correct. However, when I press any acute symbol (`^´¨), the acute symbol is separated from the letter. I keep getting the acute and the letters separated as `a or ´a. it looks like the locales changed from es_ES to en_US but I'm unable to update them through either /etc environment or dpkg-reconfigure locales. Setting time zone through the graphical applet in System Preferences crashes. Any idea? Thanks + --- + Architecture: amd64 + DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 + MachineType: Dell Inc.
