Got a GPU hang (I think) twice with the "shadow-intel" fix on Maverick and on re-booting ran ubuntu-bug xorg which generated bug #628556.
Version: 2:2.12.0+shadow+77.gb933ead-maverick Without the fix's xorg.conf it boots without a crash...let me see if it hangs. Note, prior to the fix, Maverick 20100831 wasn't having any trouble with this i845G, limited running ...
