You have been subscribed to a public bug: When I first installed Ubuntu about 6 weeks ago, I plugged in an external display and it was recognized and configured immediately.
Now, perhaps because of an automatic update, my laptop will not recognize the display while running Ubuntu. (It does under Vista). I have a 64 bit HP Pavillion dv9500 with a NVidia graphics card. This feature is sorely missed. ** Affects: xorg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Incomplete ** Tags: hp-pavilliondv9500 karmic lucid regression-release regression-update -- external display not recognized https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/394006 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xorg in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
