Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-input-evdev

The Apple Magic Trackpad is currently grabbed by the X synaptics input
module. To enable multitouch support in Maverick, it needs to be grabbed
by the X evdev input module. An extra file
(/usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/60-magictrackpad.conf) with an appropriate
InputSection would correct this issue. The Magic Trackpad can be singled
out so that the change does not affect any other trackpads.

This bug is dependent on bug 628214. The change for this bug may be
uploaded before the xorg-server bug is fixed, but it will not have any
effect.
