Public bug reported: Fresh install of Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS. I applied updates first. Then I used System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers and clicked "Activate" for ATI driver. It downloads the driver but fails during install. It happened before. Also, I'm not able to install Ati 10.9 driver.
