Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg
I used apt-get update and upgrade to download new packages. A new kernel and glfx packages was waiting, everything looked like it installed okay, when I rebooted the pc never showed the login screen (no matter how long I waited) ... so I booted with a live CD environment, and after alot of goofing around I re-installed the ATI drivers by doing a chroot (I never even knew there was a command like that) ... and when I rebooted everything worked fine ... please Ubuntu / xorg / glfx ... I do not want to do this every time you update glfx via the repositories and or kernel ... because I had a minutarure herat attack ... thought all my data was in bit-heaven ...
