OK - sorry that I've been unable to update this bug. I have four kernels on my system (currently).
kernel | attempt 1 | attempt 2 | attempt 3 -------------------------------------------------------------- 2.6.32-24-gen| good | good | good 2.6.35-19-gen| bad | bad | bad 2.6.35-20-gen| good | bad | good 2.6.35-22-gen| bad | bad | good The only reason I even tried multiple boot attempts was when I was writing down 2.6.35-20 and 2.6.35-22 I wanted to re-confirm that the results I had. And they differed. Let me know if I should try any additional kernel versions. -- X does not start (nouveau) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/640432 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to xserver-xorg-video-nouveau in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
