Binary package hint: xorg
Since i installed Ubutu 10.10 2 weeks ago I have the following problem. When i
start a application (any app but for instance firefox) it shows covering the
top panel instead of toutching it. Futhermore is the window disformed and
incomplete.
I found a way to 'solve' this everytime it accours after a update or reboot.
On the desktop I click the right mouse button, choose for the last option:
change desktop baklground, then choose the tab visual effects. On the window
with the options none, normal, extra and adepted I choose one of the options
other then 'none' (my present default). The programs starts searching and comes
back with the message that no adeptions could be made.
But there comes the special thing, the desktop behaves normal again and all the
windows are displayed correctly!
