I just tried in on a Asus EEE 1005HA, using Maverick x86 (2.6.35-23-generic).
Two-finger scrolling (both horizontal and vertical) works wonderfully, as does tapping with two fingers. It doesn't seem to detect a 3-finger tap, though.
