Hmm nope i havent actually. Though i've upgraded to the latest ubuntu and the problem semes to be going away slowly. I still experience the same thing but this time the timeframe is longer. If i set my clock to show seconds i see exactly when it stops now and as soon as i move the mouse those "lost" seconds are recovered and the computer is in normal state as long as i use it. I'll try to boot with those options u showed me and see if there is any change and i'll get back to you.
Thanks for showing interest in my weird issue =) On Sun, Nov 21, 2010 at 10:25 AM, Billy <577...@bugs.launchpad.net> wrote: > Have you tried booting with the kernel options > processor.max_cstate=1 > nohz=off > > -- > system "halts/freezes/stops" if not using the computer (aka mouse/keyboard) > for 5-30 seconds > https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/577962 > You received this bug notification because you are a direct subscriber > of the bug. > -- system "halts/freezes/stops" if not using the computer (aka mouse/keyboard) for 5-30 seconds https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/577962 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu-X, which is subscribed to fglrx-installer in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat Post to : ubuntu-x-swat@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
