Hello Friends and fellow geeks! I have come to a very difficult decision to step down from an active leadership role for a number of reasons. First, I am becoming less and less involded in the Ubuntu community, I feel that someone who is more deeply involved in the community is more suited as a leader of this team.
Second, I am looking at hacking (the good kind) as more of a hobby rather then a career (for me anyway), for the longest time I was planning on going into the IT field, but now I have my eyes trained on becoming a pilot, as such I am becoming more of a "user" then I once was, again I feel someone who loves Linux should be the leader, Linux just isn't cutting the cheese for me right now. Don't worry I am still going to be on IRC, I'm still in 28 channels, I'm still on twitter, email etc etc etc. I am only stepping down as a leader, with the new council in place (after the latest team restructure) there is no one person the whole lot hinges on, but in the event something does go wrong, i'm still here to patch the holes if the need be :) See ya on the airways ;D -- From, Andrew Constantine [email protected] Twitter: @AndrewMC6 <http://twitter.com/AndrewMC6> http://about.me/andrewconstantine
