制作几个U盘的运行盘就行了。当然用户的数据是需要经常备份到别的电脑的。

我感觉你是担心系统启动不起来，并不是你的"用户数据"丢失。分区 细些
遇到故障时会容易恢复些。我们遇到最多的是文件系统stale了或者硬盘故障，一般single user
mode下就可以作很多fs的修复工作，真不行了再用rescure CD。

我们是这样做的，你可以参考下，
0. 服务器上的 "用户数据" 和 "系统程序、配置等" 是单独分区的，比如将/home, /opt 和 其他分区分开
1. 只备份"用户数据" （tar磁带 + rsync ）
2. 配置一个自动安装源，一旦系统真的 完全不可用，20分钟内就可以重装完 （配置好后，作一个dd镜像也可以）

不太稳定有时候会出现系统问题无法启动 ---- 可以用pmagic 或 sysrescure 发行版来修复

用live cd 启动之后 解压覆盖就可以了把？
