OK. Let's try editing the fstab file. In terminal, type:
gksudo gedit /etc/fstab
Enter your password and press <ENTER>
At the bottom of the file, enter the following (it is easier to copy-
and-paste):
dev/scd0 /media/cdrom0 iso9660,udf user,noauto,exec,utf8 0 0
Reboot your computer, and try a CD again.
