I currently updated(partial updation) my ubuntu 9.04. But after updation when i rebooted into grub, i see only memtest of ubuntu and my Windows XP dual boot option. I dont see any generic or recovery mode of ubuntu. And i could have reinstalled it to pc but my datas will get lost.
