New question #77961 on Ubuntu:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/77961

I just installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my desktop (a refurbed HP with Pentium 4 that
had a few extras thrown on it) because I was sick of all the problems with
Windows.
First, I can't get Windows off of the computer...I tried deleting it manually
with no success after the install of Ubuntu didn't override it completely. I
don't have any partition manager that I can find...
Second, I seem to have no video card all of a sudden. I use the Transmission
BitTorrent Client that came with the program for programs for my son, but
whenever I try to preview anything, it crashes the program. I have tried a
couple different video programs.
In 'system->administration->hardware drivers' it says "No proprietary drivers
are in use on this system"
Third problem - webcam not working...
Final problem - numeric keypad on RS not registering keystrokes unless numlock
off (then no numbers, just directional) I use this computer for work as well
(data entry) and rely on my keypad for quick entry.

I think that is all...if anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it;
I'm not a programmer or writer, just a user that isn't completely ignorant...
