Hi Akshay,
You reported this awhile ago, unfortunately in the wrong place. This is a
question about using Move Player, not a bug report.
In order to play "restricted" (i.e. proprietary) formats for music (like mp3s)
and videos (like DVDs), you need to install extra codecs, which are most easily
available in the Medibuntu repositories. For directions on setting this up,
please see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu
