i am using windows and ubuntu on same laptop as two different operating
system..i have a wireless broadband of BSNL which is set on "AUTOMATIC
DETECTION AND CONNECTION"..in windows it detects and connects properly, the
only prob is that the IP address were set manually once and then it was never
needed to change them..when i installed ubuntu on VMware then it properly
connected the wireles and i was able to acess the net but after i instally
ubuntu DEsktop 9.04 version then it just detects the wireless connection, says
connected ( same story if connected through ethernet cable) but i am not able
to browse the web..i tried entering the IP address manually but it didnt
work..i am not able to get the solution from any of the other answered question
regarding this..can u please help me in a proper step wise procedure to solve
the catch..
