marcobra (Marco Braida) posted a new comment: To upgrade your system from 8.04 you need to upgrade it to 8.10 then to 9.04. But consider to install the 9.04 directly. You can also use the Ubuntu 8.04 or 8.10 live desktop install cd to resize your partitions if the Ubuntu 9.04 install cd doesn't start.
