Peter Adolphs is still having a problem:
Hm, ok. xorg.conf doesn't contain much, not even the setup for two
monitors:
Section "Device"
Identifier "Configured Video Device"
EndSection
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Configured Monitor"
EndSection
Section "Screen"
Identifier "Default Screen"
Monitor "Configured Monitor"
Device "Configured Video Device"
EndSection
So it seems that gnome-display-properties is actually configuring X. Any
other ideas? Should this be a feature request for gnome-display-
properties?
