New question #78436 on Ubuntu: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78436
I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 and Fire Fox 3.0.12. I'm unable to launch links on my desktop to URLs containing a query string. If I drag an address from FF to my desktop, it creates a link icon [good]. When I double click the icon, it launches FF [good]. However, the address loaded into FF is missing the query string (everything after the '?') [bad]. So, I don't get the correct page [bad]. What should happen is that FF launches with the full URL so I get the correct page. When I view the link properties of the icon, I see the full URL including the query string [good]. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
