Before all of that I tried using the new printer dialog...but my
printer is not listed, I don't know where to find the .ppd file, and
when I search it says no matches found. Then, after searching the
internet, I tried like the lexmark site said, because they seem to be
the only ones who recognize there is a driver, and just clicked it to
install. Then I tried in the terminal. Both ways I get the same message.
I am not so good with the terminal, so I may have screwed something up
or I probably am missing something obvious. Either way...does that
answer you question?
