Billet75 is still having a problem:
I have tried the command below before posting the issue. I also edited the
/etc/apt/service.list (removed the # so the it would allow apt-get to get the
package, I could be wrong on the exact path ) After doing so the wireless card
did see the network but was unable to connect. At the same moment all my other
devices were knocked off my wireless network, it had issue with WAP. I would
like to update the ubuntu 9.0.4 kernel to 2.6.29 as I read 2.6.30 is really in
a beta stage. I do not know how to update the kernel. Please provide
instructions. If there is a ISO image for ubuntu 9.0.4 64 bit that contains the
new kernel I am fine with reinstalling. Please provide a URL we I can download
it. Thx for your help -Billet
