Norm Miller posted a new comment: My hard drive that I had Ubuntu 7.1 on died. I just recently partitioned the laptop and now have Ubuntu 8.04 sharing the drive with Windows XP. I now have a printer problem, again, similiar to what I described on 2008-03-04. I've tried the instructions from Froy on 2007-10-24. without success. It seems like the software is attempting to send a print instruction, because the printer light turns amber, from green, and stays that way.
