Question #78519 on Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78519

actionparsnip posted a new comment:
SUSE is like Ubuntu and so is Mandriva and so is any Linux system you can name,
they are all the same at the core, The kernel is Linux, what is round it is a
distribution. But yes linux wil take a lot of work in some cases to get it up
to speed. The trick is to buy hardware that is hugely supported (Acer aspire
one works 100% (even webcam) out of the box on jaunty UNR)
I believe there are guides outlining how to get ubuntu working on the unit.
