New question #78884 on gfxboot-theme-ubuntu in ubuntu:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gfxboot-theme-ubuntu/+question/78884

Hello,

tried several times to find out how to achieve most user friendly gfxboot setup
for Switzerland. It is easy to limit language chooser at gfxboot to
German+French+Italian+English. Expected behaviour for automatic keymap/lang
setting would be:

LANG (F2) -> KEYMAP -> Ubiquity LANG
German -> Swiss German (default) -> GERMAN
French -> Swiss French -> FRENCH
Italian -> Swiss French -> ITALIAN
English -> UK -> ENGLISH

Keymap options for Germany/France/Italy should continue to be available, it's
just the default keymap per language to be changed (logic found in locale.inc),
preferrably to be choosen via DEFAULT_LANG=ch.

How is it possible to accomplish this with gfxboot-theme-ubuntu 0.7.6 (to be
used for a jaunty remix with ubuntu customization kit)?.

Many thanks in advance, regards, Dani
