New question #78895 on Ubuntu: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78895
I am wanting to add an external 1 TB drive. I just want to make sure I can use it with no problems in Ubuntu, " juanty " before I spend that much money. I am looking at a WD 1 TB drive. I just want it for mass storage of DVD's and pictures. I also was wondering if I will have any issues using the drive to watch the DVD.iso from it directly like I do on my main hard drive? I have never had or used an external drive at all before. What about even larger TB drives? Will they work ok with Linux? The only reason I asked is that WD drives only show compatible with Mac os, and windows os systems. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
