Hi! I've insalled ubuntu9.04 in my compaq presario c702tu notebook.I also have vista ultimate and xp in ot her partitions and all the three are working fine. The problem is that mode m is not detected in ubuntu though i'm using the modem well in vista.The mo dem is inbuilt in BSNL WLL phone(HTL ltd,model:clarityIIA).I'm attatching I'm also giving driver details as in vista:Modem manufacturer:VIA Telecom Inc.,Driver provider:VIA Telecom Inc.,= Driver version:1.3.16.0. pls provide me suitable drivers for ubuntu.
