New question #78930 on Ubuntu: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78930
I have recently wrote a custom DSDT how to here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1036051 This will be getting increasingly worse as more DSDT files are compiled with the Microsoft AML compiler (MSFT). It is not ACPI compliant, and breaks Linux ACPI compatibility. The only solution is a custom DSDT override. A forum member posted a link to the Arch Linux forums pertaining to 2.6.30 here: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/15112 My question is will Ubuntu have the initrd-dsdt patch for 2.6.30 and beyond? -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
