vijay is still having a problem:
Hai tom ,

during installation, this time we did not touch advanced tab option and all
things goes right.now we use it .happy!
second time when we get into ubuntu2.6.28.11generic , update manager suddenly
appears with 130 MB updates .we successfully update and restart and the menu
shows the following
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ubuntu 9.04 kernel 2.6.28.14 generic
ubuntu 9.04 kernel 2.6.28.14 generic failsafe
ubuntu 9.04 kernel 2.6.28.11 generic
ubuntu 9.04 kernel 2.6.28.11 generic failsafe
memtest+
the other operating system:
linux
failsafe
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
shall we continue with these ?(leave it as such). in future i think whenever we
update, it will happen like this
what we do now?
Note : suse linux works well.

and another thing you said the following

"If Ubuntu's one does let you boot into openSUSE quite happily (as i expect it
will) then it's fairly easy to copy the chunk of Ubuntu's into openSUSE's so
that you can end up with one that works and one that's ready to take over if
the other has problems in the future. It's always good to have a back-up :)"
for this what can i do ?
please i need step by step instructions.
Thanks.
