New question #79003 on Ubuntu: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/79003
Hi: We are using Chelsio dual port NICs and trying to bond these two interfaces together in active-backup. Unfortunately the performance when using bonding is very poor 6-7 Gb/sec instead of 9.3 Gb/sec without bonding. We think that the poor performance has to do with the fact that segmentation offload is not able to be set in bonding driver. The underlying ports have "tso on" but the bonding driver does not allow me to set the tso, rx, tx on. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
