LEGOManiac is still having a problem:
As a further note, it occurred to me to use Ethereal to monitor the
server to see if a NETBIOS connection is even being attempted. I found
that the NETBIOS and SMB requests were coming through. I checked the
Ubuntu PC and everything is now running normally. I can connect to my
server and my shares OK.
I don't think I "did" anything, it just seems to have started working
again. I'd still like to know what to do about this in the future.
