Hello Everyone,
I did a fresh install of the latest release candidate last night on a
Dell XPS laptop. Installation went smoothly and I was quickly up and
running with a great looking machine.
I found an issue with the Ubuntu software centre when trying to install
previously purchased software. The 'File -> Reinstall Previous
Purchases...' menu option was not working (It should normally pop up a
dialog box asking for a SSO identity). Running the software-centre
from the command line indicated that 'ubuntu-sso-login-qt' could not be
found. This was fixed by installing the \ubuntu-sso-client-qt'
package.
I noticed that the details panel is still reflecting Ubuntu 13.10. I'm
not sure if this is intentional or not at this stage?
Thanks to all involved for the hard work that has gone into this
release.
Best regards
Jim
