"Mark Shuttleworth first mentioned the idea of creating an Ubuntu
derivative named Gnubuntu consisting entirely of free software, on 24
November 2005.[4] Due to Richard Stallman's disapproval of the name, the
project was later renamed Ubuntu-libre"

Title:
  Gubuntu as project name

Status in Ubuntu Gnome Remix Metapackages:
  Opinion

Bug description:
Kde has Kubuntu. Xfce has Xubuntu. Lxde has Lubuntu. It only makes
sense that GNOME follows in the same path with Gubuntu. With all due
respect, "Ubuntu Gnome Remix" is long and boring.
