I have successfully installed and run language-selector-common 0.129.2 from trusty-proposed, and could with that verify the changed behaviour as described in the test case.

However, suddenly this seems to not work any longer. The number of affected users is significant. [Test Case] How to reproduce: $ sudo locale-gen zh_CN.UTF-8 $ LANG=zh_CN.UTF-8 fc-match 'sans-serif' After the change, the response is the expected DroidSansFallbackFull.ttf: "Droid Sans" "Regular" Before the change, the response is something else. [Regression Potential] This makes the intended (and previously working) behaviour effective. No undesired side effects identified.
