I forgot to say: I was previously synchronising my contacts via google (exchage sync on the phone, google contacts provider in Evolution) -- sync'ing via U1 is working a whole lot better! Thanks for the excellent work on this (and the other parts of U1 as well); I am really impressed on how much of this already 'just works' (given that phone sync is still in Beta).
