You have been subscribed to a public bug: Did the rather smooth upgrade from 18.04 to 20.04. Before, Pulse Audio Volume Control was on my desktop, and frequently used. After the upgrade it would invariably fail at start. Segfault immediately when started from the command line.
Some research brought the reason to the front: Installed was (only) pavucontrol-qt. I removed it, and installed pavucontrol and everything was fine. I assume this is an upgrade / package error.? ** Affects: pavucontrol (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- pavucontrol wrong package at update to 20.04 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1906446 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Studio Bugs, which is subscribed to pavucontrol in Ubuntu. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntustudio-bugs Post to : ubuntustudio-bugs@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntustudio-bugs More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
