this feels like your /usr/bin/pythonn is not a python2 but a python3... (which
means it's on you).
anyway, 14.04 is out of support for now, so please update your
installation to something newer.

I'm using Ubuntu 14.04, on a 32-bit computer.
I had Inkscape installed, and attempted to use Synaptic to remove it.
(I intended to install Inkscape again, so as to have the latest version.
The uninstall failed, with the Summary message above.
