Aborted A quick search showed that a similar problem has been found in Arch linux: http://bugs.archlinux.org/task/15466?project=1&order=dateopened&sort=desc&pagenum=8 I tried downloading the source from http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=93414 and compiled the latest stable version of MusE (1.0RC3), and the resulting executable gave me exactly the same error as above. All this was quite a surprise, as MusE is the midi sequencer installed by default in ubuntustudio and I expected it to just work.
