Sorry if I missed this, and I can't find a previous reply to the thread about Lucid install failing at the select software stage to reply to...
In Sept. I downloaded both 32 and 64 bit DVD's but both fail at the "select and install software" stage. I keep watching for info that the install failure has been fixed, before I download the .iso's and try again, but I haven't seen anything. I have time now to work more on this. I don't want to burn more DVDs only to have another dud. Or is there a command line command I can add at install booting to get around this with the DVD's I already have? Sorry to bother the list if I missed the solution to this earlier.
