It's asking for the disc because you have an entry in your
/etc/apt/sources.list that points to it. You can either comment out or
remove the line, then use `sudo apt-get update' from a Terminal/xterm.
Alternately, uncheck the option using the Software Sources menu.

Title:
U/Studio 10.10 - Continuing Request for Upgrade DVD

Status in Ubuntu Studio:
  New

Bug description:
This is not a major item - but it shows unusual behavior.

When I ask U/Studio to check for upgrades, and when I ask twice (a trick I
learned
on 10.04 to actually get it go and look every day - otherwise it would claim
"None Available) -
it asks for the Upgrade DVD again.

I cannot see why this would be as the upgrade DVD is unchangeable.

The first time I did this - it went through the motions with the upgrade DVD
inserted
in the drive and it did find an upgrade to "Intel Video" - great.

The second request for upgrade today - nothing found - but it still asked for
the upgrade DVD. I cannot see why it would do this - it should be going to
  search on the upgrade servers.

  Thanks
  Ken Gibbs
