1) No. No problem with network setup. Ubuntu Studio DVD image was downloaded from:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntustudio/releases/11.04/release/ Downloaded image was verified by MD5 checksum. Installation DVD was burned from that image and again MD5 verification was done between downloaded image and burned DVD. No error. Installation DVD is sure ok. 2) Double checked the problem using another PC for installation. This time it was HP DV6 laptop. Exactly same failure with installation if separate / and /home are created. Installs ok if only one partition used. Now checked in two different computers, Fujitsu Siemens Pi-3630 Core 2 (Intel 4 core) desktop and HP DV6 laptop. No doupt the same problem. I'm sure you see it if you do test installation and select separate / and /home partitions during installation. And yes, it is not exactly Ubuntu Studio specific problem but installer problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Studio Testers, which is subscribed to Ubuntu Studio. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/796270 Title: Installer failure ---separate / and /home partitions Status in Ubuntu Studio: New Bug description: Ubuntu Studio Natty 11.04 Installer fails if separate partitions / and /home are created during installation.
